How to transfer / copy / backup an address book / favorites / wayponits from one Garmin nuvi to another nuvi

Connect the nuvi #1 to your computer.

Copy the file /garmin/gpx/current.gpx to your computer.

Connect the nuvi #2.

Copy the current.gpx file into the folder /garmin/gpx on the nuvi #2.

(The waypoint file is saved as an XML data file.)
